I had a large amount of work done here. Tanner Dobson and his crew were gentle and extremely detail oriented. I have been to many dentists and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. I really enjoyed my time with them, even if he is a Dentist haha.

Dr. Dobson was a life saver. A filing fell out over the Xmas holidays and abcessed, my dentist was on holidays until January 6th and there were no others dentists open on New Years Eve Day. 2 hospital emergency visits later long story short a friend of Dr. Dobson heard my story and intervened and had Dr. Dobson call me I was in the chair at 1105 and out the door at 1150 even after the consult about some more work that needs to be done. I can't say enough good things about this life saver, he was kind, gentle and very accommodating in my time of need. The dental hygenist that came in to help him was truly amazing too. It is 8 days later and i don't look like a partial chipmunk anymore and the pain is mostly gone. He will be getting my business for the implants that I need. 10 STARS!!!!

They won't do unnecessary work! we had a delay on crown deliver, which they then gave us a huge discount on because of the wait. Best dentist I've ever been to.

7 Stars out of 5!!! I had the most AMAZING experience with Dobson Dental! While visiting Nelson, I suddenly needed a last-minute dental rescue. I called… and BOOM—30 minutes later, I was in the chair being treated like royalty (minus the crown—unless you need one of those too). The team? Total legends. Super friendly, warm, and made the whole thing way more pleasant than a dental emergency has any right to be. The clinic is absolutely charming, and smack in the heart of Downtown Nelson—because of course it is. Seriously, if your teeth need help while you're in town, Dobson Dental is the place. Halfway into a two-week vacation in beautiful Nelson, BC I needed a Root Canal! Not only were they willing to accommodate me, they treated me with grace, respect, and compassion. I cannot recommend this practice enough, as they are not only highly-skilled, but highly-human … I really respect my Dentist back in Alberta, but if this Practitioner and his Staff were located in my home city, I would be tempted to switch!

Dr. Dobson is meticulous and professional. He is committed to the trade, and even has a dedicated YouTube channel to share his process with both the public, and more importantly, his peers. Nelson is lucky to have him and his friendly crew. Each of them do their jobs with grace and care for patients. I have been his patient since he first opened in Nelson. I highly recommend Dobson Dental, I just wish our healthcare system were as well run.
